Who are we?
The Foundation for Visionary Ethics (FEV), is concerned with issues of poverty, justice, and the environment. We take our name from three concepts in which we believe strongly:
-
A more ethical way of relating to one another, to the environment and within our institutions.
-
A vision of the future which moves us to act on our concerns.
-
A foundation upon which to build our dreams for peace into reality
Declaring these values is not enough. Our objective is to live by them, to model them and to facilitate processes which foster such results. In this context, innovative learning systems are essential, particularly those which focus on the future.
The video which follows summarizes clearly our philosophy, presented by Matthieu Ricard, Buddhist monk, cellular geneticist, translator, photographer and promotor of humanitarian projects.
And, Karen Armstrong encourages us to live with compassion, according to the Golden Rule and with eyes fixed on a common goal. She is a British writer specialized in comparative religion. Please see her video below right.
