Vilma Peña
She is a Communicator, Historian, and has studies in Group Psychology and a Doctorate in Education with a mention in Pedagogical Mediation. In addition, she is a teacher, extensionist and researcher at the State Distance University (UNED), Costa Rica. Likewise, she is a representative of the UNED in the Ibero-American Observatory of University Social Responsibility in Higher Education Institutions with Distance Education (OIRSUD).
She has experience in university community work, in new leadership and social responsibility in distance universities and communication for social change. She is a professor in the Postgraduate course in Media Administration, School of Administration Sciences, State Distance University. Professor in the Postgraduate Food and Nutritional Safety. School of Nutrition, University of Costa Rica. Volunteer at WACC (World Association for Christian Communication) based in Toronto, Canada.
