Susana Dancourt 

 

Susana Dancourt I. has 46 years of experience as a Business Administrator and Auditor. She is a graduate in Business Administrator from the Latin American Superior Institute of Administrative Sciences, Industrial Projects and Productivity, Lima, Peru. She has participated in graduate courses in the management of cooperatives, at the Faculté de Lettres et Sciences Sociales, Université de Sherbrooke, in Canada, as well as the Advanced Management Program at INCAE Nicaragua (1985).She has an excellent command of English, French and Haitian Kreole, and her native language Spanish.

 

Susana has broad international experience in Internal Audit, specifically working in offices of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA-OAS) and as a national professional in the Office in Peru, and internationally in the Offices in the Caribbean (Haiti, Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago) and in Latin America (Venezuela and Costa Rica), covering the administrative, financial and accounting fields and in the verification of operations, risks and internal control areas of the international organization. She has held positions as Administrator, focusing specially on budget elaboration and control, developing standards and administrative, economic and accounting procedures and on establishing administrative and financial organizational structures.She has a natural vocation for training personnel in her areas of competence and also in languages.Susana is now retired and is dedicated to providing language training to low-income students and participates in conferences related to life projects for seniors. She loves classical music and opera, the theatre and she continues to dance. She also participates in spiritual workshops.
