Ricardo Russo
Ricardo O. Russo, is an Agronomist from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, with Masters in Natural Resources from the University of Costa Rica and Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Central America. He has a PhD from Yale University (Forestry), United States and Ed.D. from La Salle University, Costa Rica. He was a Professor at EARTH University, Costa Rica, for two decades.
He is currently an honorary Research-Professor of Agriculture and Climate Change, at the Alfredo Volio Mata Experimental Station of the University of Costa Rica.
He has actively participated in extension and social action as a member of various commissions, National Commission for Forest Sustainability - CNSF, Committee of Verifying and Validating Bodies (OV/V) of Greenhouse Gases of the Costa Rican Accreditation Entity (ECA), National Association of Agricultural and Forestry Extensionists (ANEAF, director in two terms) and member of the official delegation of Costa Rica to two Climate Change Conferences, in The Hague and Cancun.
